Showcasing creativity through interaction design

Ian Goldstein

Originally from the incredible city of Los Angeles, I am eager to use my love for aesthetic detail in a human-centric environment. Working collaboratively in teams and solving design challenges is where I thrive. I am driven by my passion for developing visually appealing and highly functional designs. I currently have over four years of experience in the design field. In 2016, I co-founded an entertainment company that worked with high-profile content creators to produce fun games for public use. I aim to leverage my abilities to fill an interaction design role at a company. I am frequently praised as efficient by my peers and can be relied upon to help a company achieve its goals. I take pride in the quality of my work and adaptability when working under time constraints. My love for design comes from my passion for cars. I have looked at cars in astonishment my entire life because the detail it takes to perfect some cars makes them works of art. Growing up in Los Angeles, I saw many cars and was exposed to interaction design at a young age. Along with interface designs, car designs have evolved and changed drastically. I noticed how different designs were used for different types of cars. A race car would be much more aerodynamic and efficient than a luxury car made for looks. This concept can also be applied to interfaces. A luxury clothing website typically has a neat and attractive interface, whereas a wrestling advertisement may have a more intense and exorbitant design. This concept is one that I caught onto very early and has been a critical part of designing for an audience. Feel free to reach out, and let’s design the future!
